Visita obligada a los amantes de la arquitectura, una de las viviendas más bonita que he visitado, y han sido unas cuantas.
Obra maestra de la Arquitectura Moderna, genialidad de Alvar Aalto.
La entrada algo cara, pero sin duda merece la pena. Buenas explicaciones en inglés de la guía.
El interior de la vivienda es toda una maestría de la arquitectura y la visita al jardín un deleite para los sentidos.
Como aspecto negativo no dejan hacer fotos del interior, algo que no puedo entender!!!!!

Arkitehtuurista kiinnostuneille 0/5. Kierroksella puhuttiin puisevaan sävyyn tauluista, vaikka luulisi, että ko. kohteessa kiinnostaisi itse rakennus ja sen vaiheet. Ylivoimasesti heikoin maksullinen kierros, mitä olen eläessäni kohdannut.

Interesting place to visit if you're interested in Aalto/Finnish architecture. Photographing inside is not allowed and the guided tour is limited to downstairs area (the house is still used for living). After the tour you can visit the outside areas by yourself or visit the gift shop. Employees are knowledgeable and keep the tour interesting. You need to reserve a tour beforehand to enter.

Outside area of the Ruukki is nice to visit. Imho not a necessary thing to have on your bucket list.

アアルトの代表作だが、解説を聞いてみるとほとんどの特徴はクライアント（マイレ氏）の要望から来ていることがわかる。例えば散見される日本趣味は、彼女が日本大使とダチなくらい日本贔屓だったことから。また、アアルト自身は壁に絵を掛けられるのはあまり好まなかったようだが、この絵は彼女のモダンアートのコレクションで埋め尽くされていて、これらがなければこの住宅の魅力は半減してしまうことだろう。
階段を支えるランダムな丸柱が有名だが、これが外部の松林と呼応しているのは体験してみないとわからない。この圓通寺に通じるアイディアも彼女の発案かも、と思ってしまう。サンルームの道具を整理する棚も日本の茶室の水屋的。これらを知っていたとすれば、彼女はかなりの日本通だろう。
ともかく、一見の価値あり。電車とバスで行ったがグーグルマップにとても助けられた。できればレンタカーで行くのがいい。

Villa Mairea on erittäin hyvin ylläpidetty Alvar Aallon suunnittelema rakennus mikä tarjoaa oivan näkemyksen hänen arkkitehtuuriinsa. Sisustus on Aino Aallon suunnittelema ja taidekokoelma on Maire Gullichsenin keräämä ja myös ainutlaatuinen. Opastettu kierros on hyvin valaiseva ja antoisa
Ehdottomasti kokemisen arvoinen vierailu.
