The hotel is in a great location with good transport links and surrounding amenities. Booked a family room which sleeps 6, but came with one double bed, one single sofa bed, and a pair of bunk beds which were comfortable but not suitable for 2 adults. However, the bunk beds had wireless charging pads for mobile phones which were very convenient. Connected to the hotel is a Chinese buffet, which offers tasty all you can eat and hotpot dining in a beautifully decorated environment.

Good location, walkable distance away from the main railway station. Plenty of nice restaurants (be sure to check out Uyghur Noodle House!) and other services nearby.

The check-in terminals were intuitive and easy to use. I did have a minor issue checking in because I had not provided my address prior to my arrival, but the staff was helpful.

Great value for the money and overall good experience with absolutely nothing worthy of complaining about. Will recommend to friends and family and will likely visit again when I'm in the area.

The rooms were nice and pricing was very reasonable. Good size (at least the standard double rooms), with a lovely bathroom and shower. Service was excellent from all of the staff I interacted with, they were happy to answer any questions and were very friendly. They also very kindly let us store luggage for a few days while we backpacked around in the Baltics.
I'd definitely stay again next time I visit Helsinki.

Modern looking basic hostel. Good value for money for Helsinki. Many amenities. You can walk everywhere. Metro in the same building. Plenty of good restaurants around.

Great location, near the metro station (2 stops away from the train station) and lots of tram stops. Rooms are in line with other Citybox hotels, although this one is brand new (as of December 2024), and are on the minimalist side (no TV). Beds could be more comfortable, but are price in line with the price point. Staff and facilities are great, especially if you need to store your luggage. For the quality/price, I would recommend it.

Great central hotel. Right beside the metro and two stops to the central train station. It was spotlessly clean, and the staff were super helpful. Loved the communal area downstairs for making a bit of food - very helpful when traveling as a family. Good vibes all round

I set the thermostat to the Max temp 23C, but my room definitely NEVER reached that temperature. After 2 nights. I stood on a chair to feel the air coming from the vent and it’s BARELY warmer than the air in the room.
Also the thermostat is very DIFFICULT to press. The screen only accepts strong finger stabs.
The floors are thin recycled plastic, so they’re hard & cool.

1min walk to big 24hr supermarket.

Steaming hot water from sink within seconds.
Hot water also quickly & continuously from shower. Shower pressure isn’t weak, but definitely not strong, … but good enough.

On the checkout kiosk screen, it would be convenient if the “get a luggage storage key” button was the same size and immediately below the checkout button. I didn’t see it in time when inserting my card and then had to wait for 20 minutes for the host to return so I could get a luggage storage key.

Un’ottima soluzione per visitare Helsinki senza spendere troppo||Come in ogni hotel della catena Citybox, si bada al sodo. I servizi offerti nelle camere sono ridotti al minimo, ma tutto è molto pulito e i letti sono confortevoli.||La posizione è ottima. Il centro può essere raggiunto in mezz'ora a piedi, oppure più velocemente in tram o tramite la metropolitana.
