If you wish to have a unique experience in Lapland, Naali lodge is the place to go. Thierry and Catherine with the help of Nathan have been fantastic hosts. All meals (from breakfast to dinner) were delicious and well balanced and introduced us to the local cuisine. All activities were amazing and every day felt like a new adventure. Thierry is an incredible and knowledgeable guide (and a talented photographer!). We’ve loved how all activities were thought to be environmentally responsible and benefiting to respected and respectable locals. We were miles away from tourists traps and crowds. Instead we’ve been to calm and preserved environments to fully enjoy what the nature has to offer. Cherry on the cake, we’ve shared the stay with very friendly guests. The guest group size is small, so social interactions are easy to make. Thanks again to Thierry, Catherine and Nathan for this unforgettable adventure.

Don't hesitate to book your dream week with Catherine and Thierry. The reality went beyond the pictures and what we expected from the stay. Our hosts would bend over backwards for you and are very respectful of nature and their environment. The place is a paradise for nature, calm...no pollution (noise, visual,...). Catherine is a cordon bleu and Thierry, an excellent guide but not a good fisherman 😀 .... if you want to eat at lunchtime, trust Timo (the Finnish fisherman) :-)|The activities are magical: rein riding, sled dog riding, artic fishing and walks in nature reserves.|If you're wondering about the cold, it's totally manageable with ski gear. However, Thierry and Catherine will lend you extreme cold suits and SORELs for static activities.|Our honeymoon and the celebration of my 38th birthday were unimaginable and unforgettable

Having returned to more reasonable latitudes, I can assure you that this trip is like no other.||What an experience!||As if the landscapes, wildlife and varied activities weren't enough, Catherine and Thierry, the two hosts, are simply adorable and dedicated to this job.||They tell us so at the start, but it's true that time stands still there. Everything stands still, freezing the marvellous before our eyes.||Just knowing that other people will be able to live this experience is enough to make me happy.||Well done!|Bravo !

Awesome location, the guide and owner is highly knowledgeable and flexible, the food and bedding are awesome and the activities are close to nature and Lapland people! Landscapes are absolutely breathtaking !

This was one of the best travel experiences of my life.
The lodge is incredible and the nature surrounding it is absolutely amazing. Thierry and Catherine are amazing people that will go the extra mile to make you feel at home but also explain the wildlife and nature of Lapland. The activities are magical and the fact that they only work with people they trust makes it even better. We can feel that everybody they work with really care about the nature and love what they do. This is a one in a lifetime adventure and the Naali Lodge is the best place to experience it.

My husband and I stayed at Naali lodge in July 2019 and we were hoping for a relaxing break and some wildlife adventures. Naali lodge did not disappoint and gave us so much more!! ||||The lodge itself was absolutely lovely- cosy and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts, Thierry and Catherine, were so welcoming and Thierry was a brilliant guide on the walks, he even took some gorgeous photos for us! I was 19 weeks pregnant when we visited and Thierry adjusted the walks and activities to accommodate me and ensure I felt comfortable throughout. ||||Another huge highlight was the restaurant. Connor and Johanna were wonderful hosts and the food was brilliant, especially the sourdough!!! Connor catered well for me as a pescatarian. Beautiful food in a lovely setting each day. ||||It was also great to meet the resident pets, especially ||Neko the cat!||||We really weren’t quite sure what to expect of Lapland in the Summer but would highly recommend a visit, great activities and beautiful scenery! We will be back!!!

The shutdown and challenges of local economy made us to seek for good quality holiday location in Finland offering good food and services. We couldn’t have chosen better by choosing the one week full activity program at Naali Lodge! We were spoiled with delightful breakfast at Tapio restaurant, carefully chosen activities, tasty lunches during day trips, good discussions with our guide Thierry, the best ever sauna in commercial location and amazing dinners at soon legendary restaurant Tapio. Finally we have in Finland an excellent accommodation combined with a world-class gourmet restaurant in relaxed atmosphere.||Naali Lodge is run by true professionals Thierry and Catherine Chevillard. Interestingly they know Finland really well. Thierry has qualified himself to a professional wilderness guide in Finland. Catherine looks after practicalities and has created a beautifully harmonious atmosphere in the lodge. ||Program is fun and let’s you concentrate on nature and outdoors without any concerns. After the activities sauna is waiting for you before the dinner.||Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and decorated with good taste. Showers and toilets are shared among three rooms. All facilities are spotless clean. Very comfortable bed, beautiful linen and decorations.||We look forward going back and left with a new booking. Highly recommended! They may have availability still this summer.|

We spent a week in February at Thierry & Catherine’s and it was just amazing! This place is really wonderful; a little paradise full of snow, loving dogs, welcoming hosts and little attentions. We had a great time during all activities and the excellent restaurant is really bonus ! |We recommend and it would be a pleasure to come back !
