That was a spectacular stay.
The location is very remote and therefore very quiet. But the host will do everything to make you feel comfortable. I tried the cold dip in the lake and snow shoeing on the lake. We stayed up one evening to catch the northern light visible a few meters away from our cabins.

The cabins are very cosy and comfortable. If you need to shower you can use hot showers in the main chalet. Delicious breakfast with pancakes and porridge and earthy dinners.

The hot tub (to pay separately) is also an interesting experience at -20c

I would recommend this place for a real get away and reading stay. Photos will speak for themselves

I spent 6 nights at Rafi and it was a wonderful experience.

The breakfast, included in your stay, is very delicious. It looked forward to it every morning. The dining room is cozy with a lovely view of the lake and surrounding forest.

A few nights I scheduled dinner and that was also terrific. They are wonderful cooks and make you feel very comfortable. Great service.

Treat yourself to having them prepare and heat the hot tub on your cabin’s private patio. I did every night and it was magical and tranquil.

The grounds are so well maintained and the cabins are beautifully built. I felt right at home in my cabin. Very safe!! I am a solo travelled.

I rented snow shoes and walked through the forest and across the frozen lake daily. Completely immersed in nature, silence, and fresh air.

The owners are so accommodating, organized, welcoming, and kind.

I will never forget this trip. I took holiday here to relax, reflect, and find peace during the anniversary of my father’s passing. I found my time here rewarding.

I will likely return some year to experience summertime in Lapland.

BONUS: I saw the northern lights from the comfort of the cabin and hot tub!

Aurora hut / floating igloo was amazing , possibility high for aurora views from igloo, bathroom is a little away. WC inside the igloo, The hosts were very friendly and super service. The property is located in a very quiet area. Nice relaxing place mainly for couples. Menu and drinks available in the restaurant. Near by town is Kittila with airport. Snow activities as per request , private open sauna, cozy and open fire place area

Ein wirklich traumhafter Aufenthalt. Die abgelegene Lage erlaubt die Polarlichter direkt aus der Unterkunft zu beobachten, sogar aus dem Bett dank des Glasdaches. Helena und Jouko (und Sohn?) waren wirklich freundliche Gastgeber und das Essen war wirklich köstlich. Alles war sehr sauber und obwohl wir eine ganze Woche in der Unterkunft geblieben sind hat das gemeinsame Badezimmer keine negative Erfahrung gebracht, wir hatten das Gefühl es war nur für uns. Der tiefgefrorene See gegenüber erlaubt auch einen Weitblick aus der Unterkunft und tolle Spaziergänge. Wirklich einen Besuch Wert.

Je ne peux noter l endroit puisque je n ai pas eu la chance de pouvoir y aller ni de pouvoir apprécier la gentillesse des propriétaires. Ayant dû annuler un séjour de 5 nuits ( très cher ceci dit ,mais les avis étaient si élogieux.. ) pour cause de maladie.J'ai demandé le remboursement quelques heures après le délai fixé dans la politique d annulation. Quoique navrés pour nous ils ont refusé un quelconque remboursement sauf les frais de ménage de 10 €. Mais se sont empressés de le remettre en location sur le site de location. Ce qui forcément entraîne le sentiment de se faire avoir. Tout cela est sûrement très légal mais pour un prix aussi élevé on aurait apprécié un geste commercial pour éviter le sentiment de double peine. Donc attention,
payez une assurance si vous louez chez eux.

Séjour parfait, mon chéri m'a organisé un voyage surprise en Laponie. C'était un séjour magnifique, les chalets étaient super beaux, bien équipé, l'accueil incroyable, nous y retournerons.

Ein Traum von 1001 nacht.super nette Menschen, schönes Haus und die Gegend ist ein Traum, es gibt einfach alles. Schneemobil, Kajak, Schlitten, Saunas, Jacuzzi, Eisfischen, Eis Baden, Lagerfeuer und leckeres Essen und auch Frühstück.

We stayed in the cottage for one night and it was wonderful. The place is fantastically quiet, the cabins are very modern and clean and the hosts are very nice. Breakfast and dinner (optional) were also great.
We even saw the northern lights from our bed.
