Location immersa nel verde e in riva al fiume, per chi ama il contatto con la natura. Molto bella la soluzione della sauna “privata” ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti della camera. Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte e siamo stati bene. Colazione superlativa e molto abbondante. Consigliato.

We had such a beautiful stay at the Nova Galaxy Village. The location is out of town and it is nice and quiet. There is also less light pollution which makes for a better display of the northern lights! ||We did both the husky sled and snow mobile tours and they were fabulous! We would definitely recommend! ||A shout out to staff members Rima and Kimo who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. ||Some constructive feedback. It seems the accommodation is better suited to couples staying for just one night. We stayed for 3. This meant every time we wanted to go into town we had to pay for a taxi which was very expensive. The accommodation would be well served with a regular shuttle to the city. Also, the bucket shower in the sauna, whilst novel, is not ideal for multiple nights. A solution to this could be installing shower cubicles in the main bathroom adjacent to the reception. ||All in all a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay here! It’s situated in a very isolated and beautiful area so you feel secluded. There are around 12 huts but it feels
Private.

The igloos are small and cosy and you only have a small toilet which was a little smelly. The shower is in the sauna that you ask them to prepare in advance. But don’t let this put you off as it’s beautiful and well worth it! You can always do the short walk to reception if you prefer.

You can do on site activities and enjoy the fire pit restaurant

And the northern lights came out for us and it was incredible!

Me and my partner spent 2 nights here at the end of March, we had an incredible stay with the most helpful and kind staff. Incredible location and scenery. The restaurant is cosy and the food incredible! Also very close to the centre of Rovaniemi and airport. Will definitely return next winter!

Reception and room
First of all, I would like to praise the reception staff. We always received feedback very quickly and all the staff there were sensationally friendly. The rooms were also very nice and they explained to us in detail how the sauna works. We would give it 5 stars for the accommodation and the staff at the reception there alone. Thank you for your kindness.

Dinner
Now, unfortunately, to the somewhat negative experience we had in the restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told before we had even taken off our jackets that we only had 1 hour to eat dinner due to overbooking. This was despite the fact that we had made a reservation and were looking forward to our first cosy evening in Finland. I have to say that it would have made sense to inform the guests of this at the time of booking. Then we could have looked for another restaurant where we wouldn't have been served the main course when we had just put down our cutlery after the starter.
The beetroot carpaccio was sensational, but the soup was not even lukewarm but rather cold. This can happen, which is why we didn't say anything.
When we received the beef sirloin and ordered it medium roasted, the meat was not medium roasted, but medium rare.
I speak from experience as I trained as a chef and know that this can happen, especially when cooking over an open fire.
I then kindly pointed out that the meat was not medium but medium rare. The waiter took the meat back without apologising and the chef seared it again.
Then the chef served me the meat in a huff without apologising for the inconvenience.
I could hardly believe how the chef had spoilt the meal.
He cut the beef sirloin into 3 pieces and fried it well done. The meat was dry. In addition, my vegetables were already cold. For a dinner that costs 130 euros, I expect better service and, above all, better food. At the end we weren't even told goodbye. If we hadn't said goodbye properly, there would have been no response from the waiter.

Breakfast
The breakfast included everything your heart desires. There is a small selection of vegetables, ham, sausages, bacon, bread, fruit, muesli, juices and freshly scrambled eggs cooked over the fire.
We had a very warm and friendly chat with the staff there and he gave us some great tips on where to go ice swimming with sauna. It was a really great and nice breakfast experience.

Une expérience fantastique à vivre absolument. Nous étions seuls au monde !!!! Un lac gelé, deux huttes de verre sublimes, un sauna tooopppissime et des aurores boréales fantastiques sur le lac. Le transport en traineau trop chouet aussi. Merci Tristan et Jess de nous avoir fait vivre cela avec vous .
Les chiens de traineaux sont joyeux, affectueux, bien traités, petillants de vie. On peut les carresser, les caliner ... un vrai bonheur . Le tour en traineau est magnifique sur le lac . A faire ici absolument
Passage incontournable pour un sejour en Laponie !!!!

Nuit exceptionnelle dans cette hute sur la rivière ! Accompagnée d un sauna sous les aurores ! C était magique. Merci à vous pour votre accueil, accompagnement en scooter des neiges. Super super.

Traumhaft! Iglu ist klein aber fein. Nur der Geruch der Komposttoilette war nicht so doll.
