We arrived in the small hamlet of Ukna at dusk and were welcomed to by Angelika and Christian! It is in what used to be the Old school house and has been lovingly restored so stylishly with amazing antiques - interiors were gorgeous! Angelika had prepared us a delicious meal which was served in a cosy living room with a fire. Room was a great size and comfortable also with lovely antiques. Breakfast was in the conservatory - also lovely. We had a cycle on the bikes that were provided down past the local aristocrats "Slott" down to the lake. The gardens are gorgeous.....everything about Red Haven was perfect. It was a 2.5 hour drive to Stockholm so a good spot to stay over on a driving trip from the south of Sweden

Just returned from a short break in Sweden and stayed at Red Haven Cottage.Our flight from the UK was. Delayed and Karla stayed up to welcome us,she was the perfect host during our stay and nothing was too much trouble Thank you! the breakfasts were amazing.Our rooms were of the highest standard and we were made to feel at home.We would love to stay again if we get the chance

I was cycling from Stockholm to Copenhagen with 3 friends this summer. On The 2. Day, after 145 really really wet and cold km we came by Red Haven Cottage. We still had 20km to our goal that day but we were so tired so we drop by this beautiful place. Unfortunatly they didn't have room for us but said we could stay in their garden in our tent or they could call the nearest other B&B to see if they had a room for us. Lucklily there was a place 20km from them that had that. This nice woman and her husband and son could see how tired we were so they offered us to drive us and our bikes in their van. We could not believe our luck and said yes and of cause offered to pay for it but they would not accept. While all this was going on the host had made us the and offered us a sit in a warm livingroom. So if you ever go to Sweden, visit these fantastic people and fell their warmth for you self.|We never got you names but thank you so much for everything.|Best,|Andreas

Excellent service, high room standard, fantastic breakfasts! Beautiful surroundings. The hosts speak both German and English. A food store nearby. The building was previously a parish school and the present owner has renovated it with great skill and taste.

Peaceful place run by the most wonderful people. Lovely garden with apple trees . If you are ever visiting south of Sweden try to make time to stop at red haven cottage. you will not regret it ! A beautiful experience awaits.

July 2011: Very friendly and helpful innkeeper, tranquil position, nice garden and very good breakfast. Pleasant atmosphere in transformed old schoolhouse, romantic but well equipped, lot of space. Hope it'll stay like that!

Vi hade en härlig vistelse på detta B&B.||Så fint ombonat, lugn och skön stämning. ||Hon som jobbade där var så trevlig och ville verkligen att vi skulle ha det bra. ||Vi återkommer helt klart och rekommenderar det till alla.

Traumhaftes B&B mit wunderschöner liebevoller Einrichtung und Dekoration. Landschaftliche Lage , ruhig in Badeseenähe. Versorgung und Betreuung durch die Dame des Hauses war unglaublich toll. Das Frühstück war himmlisch ebenso die Aufmachung. Kanu und Fahrräder frei. Die absolute Ruhe bekommt man gratis dazu , ebenso wie den abendlichen Schwatz mit den tollen Gastgebern. Kinder sind hier sehr willkommen und werden liebevoll angenommen. Das Frühstück unterm Apfelbaum war üppig und so liebevoll angerichtet, dass wir garnicht alles aufessen konnten, eine absolute Empfehlung.Tolles Geschirr, liebevoll angerichtet, super ausreichend und sehr schmackhaft. Das Ambiente war wunderbar, das Haus ist eine alte Schule mit mehreren Appartements. Das Kaminzimmer und die Bibliothek ein Traum. Geschlafen habe wir dort so gut wie schon lange nicht. Die Räumlichkeiten sind super sauber, die Matratzen ausgezeichnet, der See mit den Kanus einfach traumhaft. Die Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin herzlich und einfach zum wohlfühlen.Ein absoluter Wohlfühlort, wir sind hingerissen und begeistert.Für diesen Ort gibt es hier nicht genug Sterne um ihn auch angemessen zu bewerten.
