F*lthiest place I have ever been. It is an old office building which is waiting for to be demolished in a few years. It seems that this firm ONLY rents this sort of buildings. In this particular building there is no proper sewerage so you cannot use showers. You can smell mold everywhere. Doors are broken so it is not safe either. One evening I was looking for tablets for dishwasher from one of the commonly used kitchens and was followed by a man who was clearly on d rgs. You can see from the mail that comes in that this place is commonly used (by the city or state) as permanent accommodation for side passers. You can’t avoid the smell of baked fish everywhere. The state of Finland owns 16% of this hostel chain. Avoid Forenom if you have any chance.

Forenom service and security are very poor. My wallet had stolen from inside of my room. Forenom have CCVT footage but not taking any action. Because of this, I lost money as well as my import documents.

I'm not the first victim of this case. I found many other people.

I also I noticed in the night and early morning outsiders in the forenom building. Forenom know everything but not taking any action from there side.

It was REALLY loud. If you have a chance, stay somewhere else and pay a company that treats customers of all means with some respect.

Not that people were inconsiderate in the hostel but that the sound part is part of the of the design. Each door has a 5 digit code, which needs to be entered to open to door. Each digit corresponds with loud beep. The sound is on both night and day. So each time your neighbor, or to that matter anyone on the floor opens the door, goes to the toilet, kitchen, leaves etc... you will wake up. The doors themselves have really clunky locks, which make loud sounds and slam automatically, which makes literally each door bang from vibration. It's really hard to have any sort of uninterrupted sleep.
The pictures looked very different from hostel, they are heavily edited and create a wrong impression. Quality of air is terrible, old conditioner or something else but it was pretty bad.
Shower lacked shower curtain and some wires were leaking.

During my stay I got in touch with the customer service about sound and leaking bidet (which got fixed, thanks, I didn't need to stand in a puddle each time I wanted to wash my hands :), customer service assistant said that I chose the cheapest option, so what did I expect?
So poor people should accept sleep deprivation as part of a hostel feature? The sentiment of the remark left an extra bad impression.

Yhteiset wc ja suihku tilat, josta annan kyllä heti yhden tähden vähemmän.
Ilmaisia parkkipaikkoja löytyy pihalta.
En ehkä menisi enää ikinä uudestaan tähän hostelliin yöksi.
Ainoa hyvä asia tässä hostellissa on että, se on edullinen paikka.

Edullinen, mutta huonossa kunnossa oleva huoneistohotelli.

Pihan useat kilvettömät ja osittain tuhotut autot eivät varsinaisesti herätä luottamusta jättämään omaa autoa parkkiin, vaikka se ilmainen onkin. Toistaiseksi auto kuitenkin joka aamu vielä löytynyt...

Huoneissa huomattavasti parannettavaa - seinissä paljon jälkiä, huone melko kylmä, huonekaluista aika ajanut ohi. Tv oli kuvasta poiketen ikkunalaudalla, joten illalla telkkaria katsoessa ei verhoa voi sulkea. Oikeastaan huone ei vastaa varausilmoituksen kuvaa lainkaan, mikä on suht huonoa mainontaa.

Jääkaapissa reikiä, eikä se ole kovin kylmä (huollosta lupasivat kyllä tulla katsomaan). Käsisuihku vuotaa lattialle ja kaapeissa pölyä. Laskutilaa saisi olla enemmän, varsinkin kun kaksi ihmistä majoittuu. Oven alla iso rako, käytävän koko ajan päällä oleva valo tulvii "kivasti" raosta huoneeseen ja äänieristys on olematon.

Sängyt ihan ok, samoin hyvä vedenpaine suihkussa ja yleisesti melko siistiä. Paitsi B rakennuksen ulko-oven edusta aivan täynnä tupakantumppeja...

Sijainti hyvä, bussit / ratikka kulkee vierestä ja hyvät pyöräreitit. Ilmainen sauna. Tehokas hiustenkuivain.

Lyhyeen majoittumiseen ok, mutta pidemmälle aikavälille (kuten itse ikävä kyllä vuokrasin useammaksi viikoksi) en voi suositella. Masentava paikka.

I do not recommend this hostel. The pictures from the website are not representative (my room, at least, was much much worse). The bathroom has no ventilation, the sink is tiny and the shower is not well insulated, so the water was always flooding. In 4 days I didn't see any staff member, it felt like an abandoned place. Also, my room was very noisy: the neighbours were always in the common room and were very loud.

As a positive comment, I would say that I felt it was not a dangerous place, so if you don't have any other option and decide to stay here you would probably be fine in this sense.
