Enkla rum utan WC. Om man bara skall sova så fungerar det utmärkt vilket var perfekt för oss. Dusch och WC delas med andra gäster.

Barnen badade på stranden som finns 15 meter från rummet. Det finns även bastu att hyra.

Man kan fiska och även bo i en Aurora Hut som man kan köra ut mitt på sjön.

Det levde verkligen upp till att vara ett gästhus. Personalen kändes som naturligt trevliga.
Rummet och gästhuset är av äldre slag och välanvänt men det syns att det tas hand om. Rummet var välstädat och det hade en lite hemtrevlig känsla. För barnen hade de jättemysiga sängar med små täcken med fina påslakan. Sängkläderna var inte bara fina utan luktade även gott.
Frukosten som ingick i priset var tyvärr inte "english" jag saknade både bacon och vita bönor, men det fanns både bröd, gröt och yoghurt.
Kaffet var bra!
Så totalt var upplevelsen positiv och jag återkommer gärna till gästhuset.

Soggiornare qui è stata senz altro la cosa migliore fatta in Lapponia. Complice anche un’aurora boreale stupenda e forte quella sera che ha reso tutto davvero magico. Il posto è molto tranquillo con ampio parcheggio e due tipologie diverse di alloggi. Classiche camere ed igloo posizionati su lago ghiacciato! Un’esperienza unica , pulizia impeccabile, cortesia e buon prezzo! Inclusa nel prezzo la colazione e l’uso della sauna per il tempo di un’ora a camera. Ci ritornerò sicuramente!

We stayed in the igloo for one night. Two adults a one 6 year old child. We arrived and the staff explained the igloo well and were welcoming. The breakfast wasn't great and I thinks it could be improved for those that are gluten free. The 4* are mainly for the breathtaking location. One thing to bear in mind is that the huskies/snow mobiles were very noisy outside the igloo and ran from 8.30am-10.30pm. Not ideal with a young child but if it was just us adults It would have not been a issue. Would recommend purely for the experience and location.

The main reason I’m giving 1 star is due to the issue with our room having a connecting door to the next room. You could hear absolutely everything, even a whisper, and light from the cracks around the door could illuminate the entire room.

Overall, the main building is old and in need of repairs. There is no soundproofing, and the shower has a noticeable smell of mold.

Breakfast was okay. The room is spacious. The staff was friendly. We were able to book a sauna, which was also okay.

The property is located 1h away from Rovaniemi, making it good with regard to accessibility to main tourist attractions. There is a bus station also nearby. The room I booked came with breakfast buffet, which was pretty good.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. However there was no availability of drinking water in the room (could have kept a bottle of water with the kettle already in the room) or in the corridor. Shared bathroom was also clean and well maintained.
The only issue I had with my booking was a confusion happened with the booking of Igloos. I booked through booking.com website, where the photos of the property included Igloos with the normal rooms making it too obvious that the price was for both room and the igloo stay.
There was no clear description in the listing that the igloos need to have a separate booking, which I came to know only from the reception staff ,after bumping into another customer’s igloo unaware of this issue (fun fact : even my keys worked with the igloo and it opened-still a mystery how the key matched if the booking for igloo was not included)

Anyways, the property is a good place to stay as they have activities like ice fishing , husky riding etc with good accessibility. However make clarity in the facilities for your booking ,especially via third party apps.

L'alloggio è situato in un posto molto carino e atmosferico. Mantiene lo stile finlandese senza tante modernità, il che non guasta. È vicino a dei supermercati, per il resto, nei dintorni, non c'è nulla. Lo consiglio per chi vuole rilassarsi e godersi un meritato relax. Organizzano anche delle escursioni.
