This hotel is a gem. It is located direct on the train station in Kemi Finland. There are six individually themed rooms. They are uniquely styled with individual Scandinavian themes. The breakfast is served in the Cafe on the first floor. The Cafe is wonderful. The ladies running this hotel provide freshly baked delights that are wholesome as well as delicious. Sitting in the Cafe and enjoying a hot drink and cake is a great way to relax and observe the local life in Kemi. Restaurants are within easy walking distance for lunch and dinner. The team at this hotel is very nice and helpful. While the rooms have no individual bath and toilet, There are three modern baths with showers and toilets in the hallway and an additional toilet without a shower. All toilets / showers are lockable for complete privacy.

Antaisin 4,5 tähteä: mukava palvelu, ihana huone, todella symppis paikka 😻 Miinus tulee aamiaisesta, joka muistutti kouluruokaa tai Ikean ruokalaa eikä istunut paikan lämminhenkisen boutique-teemaan. Aamiaisella oli siis vaalea sämpylä, muutama ohut kurkkusiivu ja muita päällisiä, puuro ripauksella (pakaste)marjasekoitusta, keitetty kananmuna, kahvia ja tiiviste-appelsiinimehua. Arvioissa oli kehuttu aamiaista, joten ehkä sekin lisäsi osaltaan pettymystä. Mutta muuten siis kaikki aivan täydellistä 👌☀️

Visited here with kids because our jr loves trains - and this building stands at the station and is originally a old building of finnish railway co. Very historical site and nicely renovated rooms and as a part of this old-fashioned style is that you'll have only shared toilet/bathrooms. Cafe Hertta dowstairs is popular also by locals and it offers very tasteful cakes, croissants etc.

Lovely unique hotel worth for staying over night! Very clean too!||Good to know is that there is reception only at the day time and the bathrooms need to be shared with other guests. Not really isolation, but we sleep well anyway so it was fine for us!||The breakfast was also lovely but I would give a bit different options for hotel guests and not have the amount of breakfast things so limited. If you for example want 2 sandwiches it shouldnt be any problem. I will still give 5 stars! Well done and specially the design is really really nice!
